Fuji School Spring Classes delaying till April 20thThings have been changing rapidly over the past a few days. As you know, Los Angeles County and the City of Los Angeles among other nearby jurisdictions ordered all residents to stay home starting Thursday March 19 through Sunday April 19, 2020. Per this guidance, Fuji School has closed on-site classes starting from Friday March 20th. In addition to that, we have decided to delay the Spring Classes until Monday April 20th from our original date of Monday April 6th. If you have enrolled and/or plan to enroll in Spring Classes (10 week course), please note that the first week will be delayed until the week of April 20th.
We remain hopeful that the threat of COVID-19 will be mitigated by then and that we can responsibly reopen our on-site classes from April 20th. However the circumstances can change daily and we will closely monitor the situation and update you of changes and important notices. We will continue to have online options available to you after we reopen our on-site classes. Please notify your teacher of your preference prior to your class. We recognize delaying the school quarter is not ideal for your language learning and retention. In these unprecedented times, please know we are here for you and remain available for your learning. All of our Fuji School teachers are providing online classes to support you as we get through the challenge together. Please feel free to reach out and check availability for your online lessons to keep yourself motivated. We thank you deeply for learning Japanese with us and wish for your health and safety. Sincerely, Ayumi Furiya CEO FUJI SCHOOL |
